The Tennessee Aquarium Penguins' Rock: Chattanooga, Tn

A permanent exhibit located within the Ocean Journey building is now home to 10 Macaroni penguins and 10 Gentoo penguins.  The penguins enjoy a 18,000 gallon wave pool and an 300 square foot rock beach, both of which are kept at a constant 45 degrees.  The exhibit space also consists of various media giving information on penguins and a touch tank that allows guests to feel the temperature of the water.  MAA provided all of the engineering services, including life support.
